🔍 How does Tidy detect similar photos?
Tidy uses on-device perceptual hashing (pHash) to compare photos visually. Nothing is uploaded — all analysis happens locally on your iPhone.
♻️ Are my deleted photos lost forever?
No. Deleted photos go to the "Recently Deleted" album in your Photos app and stay there for 30 days. You can restore them anytime within that window.
💳 How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone. Find Tidy and tap Cancel Subscription. Apple handles all subscription management.
🆓 Does the free version work without subscribing?
Yes — you get 5 free deletions to try the app. Premium unlocks unlimited cleanups, advanced AI features, and removes all limits.
🔒 Is my data private?
Absolutely. We don't collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
💰 How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, find Tidy, and request a refund.
📷 The scan isn't finding similar photos. Why?
Make sure you've granted full photo access in Settings > Privacy > Photos > Tidy. Then pull-to-refresh in the Photos tab. The AI scan can take a few seconds for large libraries.
📱 Which iOS versions are supported?
Tidy works on iOS 17 and newer. Designed for iPhone; iPad support coming in a future update.
